Why Negation?
One exist as the duality of self. It is the product of experience as conditioning. As a conditioned consciousness one is embroiled in the activity of position and opposition. The ego self is a positional intellect. The self clings to ideals that create the need for opinion and conclusion. If one is attached psychologically to an ideal then it becomes necessary to defend and support a position. Because one is grounded in the duality of the separated there is always a corresponding opposition. This is the origin of the all conflict. The self as a separated individuality is always seeking identification in the accumulation of knowledge. That knowledge becomes definition as the concept of what is. The conceptual is the psychological illusion of the self. Negation is the realization of the illusion of the conceptual. Negation as realization has no opposite. It is when thought has realized its own movement as that which is the illusion of time.
To realize the moment as the only reality is to negate the illusion of the self as the entity which concludes. The dissipation of the conceptual is the realization of the actual. The self being the conceptual is negated and with it all duality is resolved as that which is the projection of the self. Now it is possible to see directly the truth of the moment. Truth cannot become the "known", it can only be realized through the negation of what it is not. The duality of the self which is positional thought can only know the illusion of self projection...that is the self as the idea of truth. All ideals must be negated to realize truth that is without definition and duality.
Do not fall into the trap of thinking that negation is related to negativity as the opposite of affirmation. Negation is the absence of the self that is choosing, discriminating, and adjudicating. It is not the result of thought which is seeking resolution in what is known. Negation is the outcome of spontaneous realization, illumination into the origin of the separated. The truth of the absolute moment is reflected in the relationship of what is, as the integration of the selfless. It is the end of polarization and the beginning of intelligence that is beyond the known.
