"Buddha Nature" the Timeless

This writer has mentioned time in many blog articles on this site. Its understanding in the context of the self as that which projects the conceptual is key to realizing the freedom of the moment. There is no need for scientific speculation or a formulated theory. When there is insight into the origin of thought as time, then there is a dissipation of that which is seeking a result. One may meditate upon the idea of time and its relationship to the self, but the ideal is only a compilation of the known. The known can never fathom the unknown. One must leave the ideal as the passion of knowing behind.

Because time is the product of the movement of thought one is caught in the past as the projection of the present and the future. The mind sees and comprehends according to projected images that are part of the conditioned consciousness. One escapes into the memories of past experience in order to understand the present and to project the future. If there is meditation that relies on a systematic teaching, then one is caught in the limitation of that system or belief. Though one may try and escape the boundaries of this limitation, it cannot be realized because mind is caught in the origin of a time based precept.

Freedom is the key to understanding that is not of time. Psychological freedom that is not the result of an activity of self. It is a spontaneous realization from moment to moment. It cannot be a concept to be held onto, something to be studied and applied as a mental exercise. Freedom is the outcome of a realization of the illusion of time/thought. This realization is the illumination of the true self, what has been characterized as "Buddha Nature".

"Buddha Nature", the true self, is not something that you become. It is the realization of the origin of what one is in the absolute moment. It is the new and never before from moment to moment. It is devoid of the repetition of the known. It is the consciousness of the unconditioned. One lives in a timeless state of the reality of the moment. One has understanding that transcends the self created. It is the joy and freedom of an existence that is not caught in the conflict and violence of time.
