Ideological Constructs
An ideological construct is the minds way of creating a facsimile of reality. This enables a person to understand and project that reality in a way that defines who they are. The mind seeks continuity in these constructs so as to support one's opinion and belief. Constructs are the illusion of a mind that is caught in the duality of the observer and the observed, the thinker and the thought. Constructs are oppositional, that is they create their polar opposites in a process of expectation that always results in the conflict and confusion of a divided mind. Constructs are modified according to experience (the past) and never reflect the reality of the absolute moment. Instead the mind escapes the moment into its defining construct.
If you are acutely aware of the minds movement from one construct to another and its desire for continuity in what it believes, then it is possible for a person to move out of illusion. This new and never before state of mind is without contextual adherence. Clearly the observer and observed are realized as one entity. Such an entity is realizing its self as the maker (creator) of all conflict. With this comes the dissipation of all constructs. The mind discovers a new and different intelligence that does not rely on what was or the projection of what was as what should be. To be free of the minds obsession with the continuation of what was is to find peace that cannot be defined. Constructs now cease to be an emotional barrier to understanding.
But how does the mind come to this place that understands without reference? Do we meditate, pray, seek out our latest guru, find some secret in the ancient texts? NO, because all these things are themselves the dual nature of constructs! We have created them as a way of escaping...they are our drugs. You are already in this place, nothing is needed. It is all the garbage that you have been fed that conditions your mind, that clouds the breakthrough. One only needs to realize in the absolute moment. To realize a consciousness of the unconditioned. It is the "Buddha Mind" not Buddhism or Buddhist mind. The Buddhist mind is preoccupied with all its ridiculous rituals and crazy dogma. Remember this, if it has a psychological goal or purpose, its always founded in illusion. If you are defined by it then it becomes your limitation and your tether. Freedom from the known is the only way one truly realizes.
