A New Freedom
There is a state of existence that is dimensionally different than what can be defined or known. It is a state that cannot be sought out and learned through academic pursuits or "religious" or "spiritual" encounters. There is no formula for its accomplishment. The pursuit of a pious life or vows of simplicity and poverty in no way enhance the possibility of this state of existence. For such pursuits are just another form of greed. The desire to be "something or somebody" only reinforces the ego self which is constantly seeking definition. A definitive self that exist as an escape from the truth and reality of the moment.
How is it possible for one to realize this state of existence? This total freedom that can only occur as the outcome of a mind that is at peace. A mind that has realized the totality of the moment in a single breath.
The question is really this: Are you, as a human being, as a sane and fully awake person able to wipe the slate clean? To start each day without the baggage of yesterday, of your opinions and judgements. To leave behind all the political and religious non-sense that you are bombarded with every day. Can you realize in the moment how you have been essentially brainwashed into thinking that you are "right" and that "they" are wrong? Such a mind knows only division and out of this division comes suspicion of "others", the ones who do not share your beliefs. It is a sick mind that creates fear, the organization of hate as righteousness. The result of all this alienation is the violence of the conservative, the continuity of what was as what should be. One cannot "know" freedom, one can only stand empty to receive/realize what exist without the notion of a self that acquires. That state of existence which "is" when all else is not. Psychological Freedom exist outside of thoughts calculations and cunning manipulations.
When a person has realized this state of existence then there is love which transcends the individualized character of thoughts penchant towards discrimination and defamation. There is the realization that you are in fact the other. One See's through the illusion of a projected self that knows. It is the total release of all of one's fears. An understanding and insight into the workings of ones own mind. A mind that is caught in violence toward its self and others. A person must understand that there are not degrees or types of violence or "justified violence". There is only violence. The psychological or physical violence that you inflict on others you also inflict on yourself. The whole world is disturbed, it is sick with the notion that it must exploit another's seeming inadequacy in order to survive. And what is "your" survival? The notion that you must denigrate or destroy another in order that your political or religious ideals may be proven to be superior or "gods will". If that is what you think then you are truly lost to the fear that you have created.
A person must be fully aware of the motivations that cause one to be blinded to the truth. It is so obvious once your mind sees through the duality of a self that is caught in the illusion of the other as the source of discontent, confusion and conflict. All is self created and the realization of this is the first step toward freedom and an all together different state of existence.
